After one year of international cooperation, cultural exchange and friendship-building, the NaturEUnite – Nature Unites EU Citizens project has successfully reached its conclusion.

A significant step towards stronger cooperation in the Baltic region was taken on 21 May 2026 in Estonia’s Lahemaa National Park, where representatives of tourism organisations and national park communities from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania signed a Baltic National Parks Tourism Collaboration Agreement — a goodwill memorandum establishing a shared vision for future cooperation in sustainable tourism development.

From 20–22 May 2026, participants of the international project NaturEUnite gathered in Estonia’s Lahemaa National Park for an inspiring experience exchange event focused on cooperation between protected areas, local communities, and sustainable tourism development.

As the days grow longest and the sun lingers over Gauja’s ancient valleys, forests and meadows awaken with a special midsummer magic.
